They say an artist should follow the same style of work to show they have ‘found’ themselves.  I can’t agree.  I paint how and what I feel.  This can change daily, so it stands to reason my art will reflect this.

 

I LOVE colour.  It has the ability to inspire and free emotions.  I am loud and expressive in my work, but so too can I be quiet and intimate.

 

I have painted all my life with different mediums, exhibiting work in Newcastle and Cumbria, but falling in love with alcohol inks has truly changed and inspired me to press forward with my art in ways I never imagined I could.  The unpredictable, ever changing way the colours blend and dance together has me mesmerized still.
