An established and award-winning artist, Sue works mainly in oil on canvas, with works on paper in mixed media. She follows various themes, linked by their opportunities to explore the representation of movement. Her subject-matter therefore ranges from figure work, dancers, wave movements and equestrian based work.

These themes are developed from sketch books with direct observation being essential.  This approach was developed during studies at Leeds University (BA Fine Art).  Her bold compositions show a vibrant approach to colour, influenced by 9 years of living in France.
