Nadine Sutterby is a artist currently living in the North Pennines...Nadine is surrounded by rolling hills and dramatic landscapes and has a abundance of wildlife and wild flowers, so has a wealth of inspiration for her work.
Nadine went to art college in Carlisle and then spent time living in the Mediterranean, where the astonishing vibrant sunsets inspired her first pastel works...One of her favourite subjects are brightly coloured flowers and wild animals drawn with great precision and accuracy.
Nadine works mainly in coloured pencils and pastels but loves to have a go at her water colours too. Nadine has had her work in galleries and has had numerous exhibitions. She has also sold work to greeting card companies and been commissioned several times, especially for pet portraits.
A ambition of Nadine's is to one day produce her own book dedicated to the flowers that grow across the area of outstanding beauty of the North Pennies.
