Good friends John Woodley and Liam Reid have been working with wood from an early age but have only been displaying and selling their crafts as Stonehaugh Woodcraft since 2015.

Originally from Newcastle, I’ve lived in Hexham for 25 years with my wife and 2 girls.

 

I enjoy working with local, native woods, taking inspiration from my surroundings and allowing the wood to speak for itself.

​

I’ve been working with people with special needs for the last 20 years and enjoy doing basic woodwork classes for them.  I have previously sold some items in a gallery in Corbridge, but have switched venues to be amongst other crafts people with a strong network system.

I’ve lived in Stonehaugh for 15 years with my wife and 3 kids. 

​

I have recently branched out from woodcraft and have started selling my photographs of local Northumberland. These include both daytime landscapes and landscape astrophotography images. I also run workshops to show others how to use their DSLR cameras to best effect.
