I live and work in Bardon Mill, Northumberland.  Before moving here ten years ago, I lived for many years in Gateshead.  My painting has always reflected the places around me.  So, in Gateshead, I painted iconic places and structures on Tyneside, but now that I live just a couple of miles from Hadrians Wall I tend to focus on the local landscape, including the wall itself.  My main medium is watercolour, but I also work with pastel and acrylic and, increasingly, I have begun to paint directly on the computer.
