Ruth Jacobs is the founder of Jacwicks Designs and designer of the Perch range of waterproof sit-mats, boot bags and picnic rugs.
The Perch Range was borne out of necessity one day on a Nordic walk in the Northumberland countryside. Needing something to sit on that was waterproof, easy to carry and pleasing, Ruth searched for a suitable item. Unable to find anything she liked she decided to make one herself and the rest as they say is history.
Each Perch is handmade by Ruth at her home in the North East. Materials are soured from UK suppliers.
