Will Nicholls
Will’s interest in photography began in 2007 when he moved from the city to the Northumberland countryside, just above Haydon Bridge. It was in Northumberland, spending many hours photographing red squirrels, that he secured his love of wildlife and achieved competition success with his images of red squirrels. In 2013, with the backing of Wagtail Press, he published his first book ‘On the Trail of Red Squirrels’ which received critical acclaim, not just for the stunning photos but also his writing - he was just 18 years old.
Will founded the popular nature photography website Nature TTL in 2014, which is going from strength to strength - he writes regular features on the site along with some of the biggest names in the nature photography industry. He has organised and completed photographic expeditions to Cambodia and Peru where he realised that the rainforest is his favourite working environment.
Alongside all of the above, Will is studying Zoology at Exeter University and will be graduating later this year.
