Tim has been using modest materials to create forms and textures of unusual beauty. The exhibition demonstrates his interest in furniture and other installations some of which are interactive. His pieces are often connected to memories and to references of personal identity.
His 2017 exhibition at the Forge 'Roots and Branches' featured Tim's early work as a student of furniture design and production at Rycotewood College in Thame, Oxfordshire, through to more recent items involving engineered materials such as plywood and OSB (Oriented Strand Board).
Tim hopes his work will engage you with the making and creative process. He graduated with BA (Hons) in Three Dimensional Design (Furniture) at Norman Potter's "Construction" course at the West of England College of Art in Bristol. Tim is currently living in Northumberland and is a member and trustee of the Brampton Woodworkers' Club in Cumbria.
