Paul Stangroom
My paintings are a response to the beautiful and often stark landscape of the North Pennines - from broad views of the moors and fells to more intimate views, glimpsed through windows in abandoned homes and barns. I am constantly amazed at the number of abandoned dwellings that I keep finding and they are a rich source of inspiration to me. The landscape and Windows paintings are usually in watercolour and I also paint portraits in oils. Commissions are welcome.
