Pam Stevenson Art
As a child I was a persistent doodler, always happiest when I had the chance to draw, paint or crayon. As an adult there are all the responsibilities that demand time and attention, diverting the most creative people into the mainstream of a hurly burly lifestyle and art then becomes something of a retreat, a hobby, a sanctuary where the mundane world can be forgotten for a time.
Perhaps the Muse does keep a watchful eye on us and when it’s our turn, we are taken off the shelf, given a dusting and pointed towards an avenue of opportunity that we never thought possible. This is a beautiful episode in my life where colour and tone are returned and I can now pursue my passion for art.
