Jina Gelder Illustration
Jina's loose and lively animals look ready to run off the page. She primarily works in ink and watercolours but occasionally enjoys dabbling in printmaking and other media. She professes to working quickly to imbue her subjects with movement and life. Alongside her original paintings, Jina's range of products has grown over the years to include mugs, lampshades, prints, scarves and other gifts.
Her focus is largely on British wildlife but occasionally Jina enjoys painting flowers and works on commission painting dogs, cats and anything else people desire.
Jina started her business in 2011 and moved into her first studio at Allendale Forge in 2013. Jina is now based out of the National Trust's Gibside estate and has a studio alongside other creatives in the old stables. She regularly attends shows around the country and sells work in several galleries around the country.
