My lifelong interest in watercolour painting was first triggered by inspiring teachers in my boyhood and college years.

My principal interest is landscape painting.  Because I spent much of my younger life climbing on the hills of Britain, their undoubted beauty has figured prominently in my work, though I find seascapes and street scenes equally appealing as subjects.

 

I have exhibited locally and also at the Forge, where I held a solo exhibition.  I also exhibited, in the past, with the Yorkshire Watercolour Society. 

 

Some of my work adorns walls in the USA and on the Continent, as well as in the UK.  It pleases me that people are kind enough to hang my work in their homes.
