Carol Nunan is a printmaker whose studio – a converted barn on the edge of Hexham, in rural Northumberland – is where she creates her original handmade prints and teaches printmaking workshops.
Her inspiration comes from the flora and fauna, the iconic Northumberland castles, it’s Christian Heritage, pre and post Roman archaeology and the geology of The Whin Sill.
Carol’s work is created by hand using two printmaking media – monotype and collagraph. Every print is unique. Her work constantly evolves to reflect the changing landscape and seasons.
