Alison Diamond Rogers
Alison Diamond Rogers MA is an Artist/Printmaker living in the North East of England, working primarily with the figure.
‘Drawing is my passion. I love to observe the everyday and to trap it within some form of printmaking, be it etching, silkscreen, relief print or monotype.
I am a member of Manchester Academy of Fine Arts. The society’s latest exhibition was held at the Crossley Gallery, Dean Clough Halifax, August 2018. A further exhibition takes place at the Station Gallery, Richmond, North Yorkshire in May 2019.
I am currently working as Academic Tutor at Sunderland University within the Design Department, teaching Printmaking for Illustration. I also work as a freelance tutor for Leisureworks, Durham Council, developing group projects using textile, print, collage, drawing and painting. I continue to exhibit my work and initiate residency opportunities, most recently working as an Artist/Consultant with nine nursery schools for the Sunderland Tall Ships visit 2018.
