Drop In and ‘Make a Felt Brooch’

Starting with a bit of sheep’s wool, in less than an hour you can make a unique felt poppy brooch (or coaster if you prefer). No artistic ability required, but you’ll need basic sewing skills to assemble the finished brooch. Suitable for children aged 10 and upwards.

This exciting new workshop is a collaboration between a printmaker and textile artist bringing the two media together. Learn to make two textured collagraph plates using simple materilas. Cut them into geometric shapes and experiment with inking and printing onto fabric. In part 2 you’ll learn how to interpret and transform the printed fabric with hand stitching and embellishments.
