Started in 1998 as a record label in Winslow, Buckinghamshire and specialising in reissuing 70’s rock and folk music, Market Square has gone on to release new recordings by legacy artists as well as newcomers to the music scene. The company has reached into other areas of music such as publishing and promotion. In addition to releasing music in physical format (CD), it is also building a catalogue of digital downloads some of which are exclusive to this domain. Allendale has always been a second home to Market Square: owner Peter Muir has family ties in the town and the company has business connections with the North East.
