Thirty years ago, Dennis Baynes, a farmer with a bed & breakfast business at Bridge End Mill in Allendale needed to keep up with the growing demands of his family. He bought a Volkswagen Dormobile and started ferrying locals around to make ends meet.
A lot of hard work later Baynes Travel has grown into a flourishing business Dennis would have been proud of. Bridge End Mill is now home to a modern fleet of cars, people carriers and coaches carrying passengers from across the region.
