Member, Andrew Parkes is the owner of the Ryton Soap Co. For the past 7 years he has been making soaps using two methods, melt and pour and cold process.
He is currently developing an old ‘hand-milling’ process. The process time is shorter than ‘cold processes’ whilst still producing a wonderful solid, moisturising and skin enhancement through exfoliating soaps.
He uses natural and organic products to reduce the use of chemicals on our skin and hair. The colourants in his soap products are from natural resources,
- Carrot Powder: daucus carota, yellow/gold, Beetroot Powder; INCI: Beta Vulgaris, pink/purple.
- Natural oils and butters (Shea butter: Butyrospermum Parkii), (Apricot kernel oil: Prunus Armeniaca).
He makes and sells the finest, best quality natural hand-soaps for both women and men with a continuous commitment to providing healthy, natural ingredients.
Alongside his standard bathing product range he also makes:
