Jean Haste uses 100% crepe de chine silk scarves onto which she hand paints a variety of designs. All her scarves are hand washable.

She is inspired by the countryside around her and try to incorporate the local landscape into her silk painted pictures. To add more detail onto these she sometimes machine embroider trees and foliage onto the fixed silk, before mounting the pictures into frames.
