The Allendale Forge Studios developed a unique role as the strategic centre for exhibiting regional and international artists in Allendale through its annual exhibition programme.
We curate shows concentrating on three fixed points
- the monthly cultural event – on the first day of each month we hold a new exhibition in the main gallery
- the Art And Music ‘Summer’ Festival – June and July sees our 8 week showcase of inhouse makers, musicians and small businesses
- the ‘Christmas’ selling exhibitions – at the start of December we hold our Festive Winter Fair
The gallery is available for rent for exhibitions throughout the year to artists and crafts people on a monthly basis.
Reductions
In recognition that the gallery rent can represent a substantial overhead for a solo exhibitor we provide a substantially subsidized rate for a one-person show.
In addition we work cooperatively with exhibiting artists and provide full support to ensure success.
Further Reductions
Allendale Forge Studios members, Network members and tenants are entitled to a 10% discount as are artists taking part in the annual Northumberland Art Tour.
