At The Forge Café we believe in staying local. The ingredients that go into the food on our menu are locally sourced where ever possible. Dairy and salads come from The Allendale Coop, the cured bacon from the local butcher, the freshest free range eggs from Haydon Bridge Hens, Northumberland honey and jams and The Art Of Chocolate handmade chocolate truffles are made in the Café too. New to the team are specialist teas from the TEASHED Company based at Stocksfield

THE ART OF CHOCOLATE
Good chocolate doesn’t have to be complicated. At The Forge Café we make our chocolate truffles hand tempering the finest Belgian chocolate coverture and the best natural ingredients using our own recipes. Light white chocolate, creamy milk and robust dark chocolate truffles, made with real cream, vanilla, ginger, coffee and violet for a wonderful luxury taste that melts in the mouth.
